About the position

The Bilingual Human Resource Manager position is a newly created role within a well-established Agricultural/Food organization located in Northcentral Indiana. This position is essential due to the company's recent growth and aims to enhance the HR functions within the food manufacturing sector. The HR Manager will be responsible for various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies, while fostering a family-oriented company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees.
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions and retention strategies.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with management to understand employee benefits and retention needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in recruiting, onboarding, and disciplining employees.
  • Strong understanding of employee retention and benefits.
  • Experience in the professional services industry is highly required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a must.
