Betts Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team! As an HR Generalist, you will be a key player in our organization, responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions. This includes employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processing. Your role is essential in driving key HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience, ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Fluency in Spanish is essential, as the candidate must be able to effectively communicate both complex and general HR-related matters to diverse audiences. Responsibilities

  • Lead by Example: Exemplify and uphold 'The Betts Way' framework in all interactions and responsibilities.
  • HR Strategy: Collaborate with the HR Director to create and implement HR strategies that drive employee engagement and company success.
  • Onboarding: Serve as a secondary lead for onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, provide guidance, conduct investigations, and resolve workplace concerns.
  • Leave of Absence (LOA): Act as the primary contact for LOA requests, guiding employees through the process and maintaining accurate records.
  • HRIS & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Paylocity), ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Employee Termination: Manage the employee termination process, ensuring compliance with policies and laws, and conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing for 200+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Benefits Support: Assist the Benefits Manager with administering employee benefit programs and address related inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a generalist role.
  • Experience in employee relations, payroll processing, recruitment, and HR compliance.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations and resolving workplace issues.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals.
