About the position

As a Bilingual Human Resources Manager at Pella Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a people-focused culture within a stable, growing, family-owned organization located in El Mirage, Arizona. This position is designed for an experienced HR professional who is eager to contribute to the success of the company by partnering with Sales, Operations, and Plant staff across multiple sites. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the work environment aligns with Pella's values and leadership principles, thereby enhancing the overall employee experience and organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will act as a leader and business partner, planning and administering various HR policies, programs, and processes. You will collaborate closely with HR and Operations leaders to develop and deploy human capital solutions that align with business objectives. Your contributions will be vital to the long-term strategic planning and direction of the plant, as you will be an integral part of the site's senior leadership team. You will be tasked with establishing an inclusive work environment that not only aligns with Pella's culture but also enhances team member experience and retention. Providing coaching and feedback to team members will be essential, as you empower them to reach their full potential. Additionally, you will leverage HR reporting and metrics to analyze data, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions to address business challenges effectively. Operational excellence will be a key focus, as you will continuously seek to improve processes to allow for greater emphasis on long-term strategies. Ensuring that staffing levels meet or exceed forecasted production goals will be critical, achieved through the attraction, development, and engagement of team members. You will also represent Pella within the community, engaging in charitable giving, partnerships with local businesses, and active community leadership. Your role will require you to anticipate organizational needs and adapt quickly to emerging situations, staying informed on HR best practices and applicable legislation. You will partner with Operations and HR on enhancing core HR processes such as employee relations, promotions, compliance, and safety training. Furthermore, you will ensure that all policies, procedures, and reporting comply with federal and state laws, identifying legal requirements and government reporting regulations as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR & Ops leaders to develop and deploy human capital solutions aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Human Resources management, preferably in a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and applicable legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor team members effectively.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and programs that align with business objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in community engagement and leadership roles within local organizations.
