About the position

The Bilingual Insurance Agent role involves selling various insurance policies, including auto, home, renters, and commercial insurance, to both new and existing clients. The agent will be responsible for developing tailored insurance plans based on client needs, resolving inquiries and complaints, and meeting performance metrics. This position requires strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, and the ability to build relationships with local businesses to foster company growth.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell Auto, home, renters, GL, Commercial insurance policies to new and existing clients.
• Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs.
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous way.
• Meet Quality Assurance requirements and other key performance metrics.
• Market with local complimentary businesses to build relationships that help the company grow.

Requirements

• Must be Bilingual with excellent verbal & written communication skills in both English & Spanish.
• Licensed agents preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in customer service or related fields.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Great time management and punctuality.
• Reliable form of transportation.
• Willing to travel at times to DFW locations.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in auto insurance.
