About the position

The Bilingual Insurance Sales Agent at AAIGOT Insurance Agency, Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support in the insurance sales department. This role involves quoting and closing sales for home, auto, and commercial insurance, while maintaining a strong knowledge of products and updates. Responsibilities

• Effectively quote and close prospects searching for home, auto, and commercial insurance.
• Generate sales from agency-provided leads such as internet leads, warm transfers, mail, telephone, and networking.
• Maintain profound knowledge of new products and updates to existing product lines.
• Cross-sell to existing clients from our book of business.
• Conduct retention efforts with current renewal business.
• Follow up with leads to ensure conversion.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Be a dependable team player.

Requirements

• Texas General Lines Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in home/auto insurance sales is preferred.
• Some college or new graduate with BA/BS/BBA is a plus.
• Goal-oriented and self-starter with excellent communication skills.
