About the position

The Bilingual Janitorial Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the janitorial program and leading a team to deliver high-quality services. This role emphasizes the importance of people as the organization's most valuable asset and requires effective management and leadership skills to ensure operational success. The position involves recruiting, training, and developing staff, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the janitorial program and lead a team of professionals.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop new employees.
  • Provide training for on-site managers and supervisors.
  • Develop new programs and systems to meet or exceed expectations at each location.
  • Sustain relationships with management and ownership.
  • Coach and counsel employees as needed, including termination when necessary.
  • Provide required reports in a timely manner.
  • Conduct oneself with honesty and integrity.
  • Attend regular meetings as required.
  • Travel to assist in the development of future properties as needed.
  • Participate in non-regional assignments as necessary.
  • Anticipate, accept, and adapt to change.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in janitorial management.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Understanding of operations and budgetary responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Ability to communicate expectations and consequences effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities.
  • Strong people skills and results-oriented mindset.
