About the position

The Bilingual Japanese/English Product Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between Japanese development teams and the company's production team for a live operations title. This role involves monitoring product updates, translating materials, and providing feedback on marketing efforts, ensuring effective communication and product maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Primary liaison between the Japanese development teams and company's production team for a live operations title.
• Responsible for monitoring product updates and maintenances.
• Request information required for social media and marketing efforts.
• Share fan feedback with Japanese development teams.
• Accurately translate informational material from written Japanese to English and vice versa.
• Provide feedback on marketing materials.
• Check accuracy of in-game messaging.
• Check accuracy of messaging on all official channels.
• Provide a helpful presence for the fans.
• Create proposals for tournaments, giveaways, and merchandise at live events.
• Assist with KPI data analysis.
• Ensure correct timings of messages, announcements, and reveals.
• Travel for business as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-2 years of localization experience in the same or similar position.
• Ability to speak, read, and write Japanese is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and handling video equipment is a big plus.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in this industry.
