About the position

The Bilingual Sales Manager will be responsible for providing sales and marketing support, developing business relationships with customers, and coordinating with branch operations and corporate sales. This role involves direct sales activities, coaching junior sales staff, and maintaining thorough knowledge of service products to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential targets through cold calling and appointment-making (55%)
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities (25%)
  • Report on sales and customer forecasts, and provide recommendations to management (5%)
  • Create sales forecasts and marketing materials (5%)
  • Coordinate with branch operations and corporate sales (10%)
  • Provide leadership and training to junior sales staff
  • Update the Prospect Management System with accurate information
  • Develop marketing and sales materials
  • Provide management with current market conditions

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English
  • Experience in sales and marketing
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to travel within the regional territory (up to 50%)
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Proven negotiation and closing techniques
  • Self-driven and results-oriented

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in logistics or transportation sales
  • Familiarity with international markets, especially Asia
  • Experience in coaching or training sales staff
