About the position
We are HRAIT/aiTWorks, an employment agency, seeking a Japanese Bilingual HR Staff member to join a Japanese food manufacturer located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in human resources, as the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of HR operations. The role involves hiring, payroll management, handling changes in work rules, and responding to employee inquiries. Given the small size of the administration department, the candidate may also be entrusted with general affairs work, which requires a collaborative spirit and a willingness to assist colleagues beyond the defined scope of work. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in human resources and must be proficient in both English and Japanese, with business-level English and conversational Japanese skills. Additionally, the candidate must possess a valid work status to work in the U.S. and either have or plan to obtain a U.S. driver's license. This position is not remote and requires the candidate to work on-site in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The salary for this role ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, with expected working hours of 40 per week, Monday to Friday, during the day shift.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of human resources operations including hiring and payroll management.
- Handle changes in work rules and respond to inquiries from employees.
- Assist with general affairs work as needed due to the small size of the department.
- Collaborate with team members and support each other in various tasks.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in human resources.
- Business level English and conversational level Japanese.
- Must have a valid work status to work in the U.S.
