About the position

The Bilingual Learning & Development Specialist at The Children's Village is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs for US Program team members. This role ensures compliance with ORR and agency standards while enhancing individual and team performance through various training initiatives conducted in both English and Spanish. The specialist will collaborate closely with the Director of CVTI and US Program leadership, contributing to the overall training strategy and supporting additional training initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, and delivery of training on various subjects.
• Conduct assessments and training to ensure compliance with ORR and agency standards.
• Facilitate trainings on required topics, agency mandates, and compliance boosters in English and Spanish.
• Support other CVTI training initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, education, psychology, organizational development, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in training, group facilitation, presentation experience, or instructional design, or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, proofreading, and presentation skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Experience with a learning management system.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and facilitation.

Nice-to-haves

• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), CPR, and/or other instructional certifications.
