Position Overview: The Loan Officer Associate shadows experienced leadership and team members while actively participating in customer interactions to learn customer relationship management and loan origination processes. This position undergoes comprehensive training, including the completion of the S.A.F.E. training course and examination in preparation to transition into a Loan Officer role.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow leadership and team members through the loan origination processes.
  • Manage multiple customer inquiries daily with unlimited qualified leads provided by internal branch call center.
  • Gather customer information and identify customer needs.
  • Assist Licensed Loan Officers in obtaining leads through the coordination of communication and transferring of identified customers via corporate phone system.
  • Apply corporate training methods and tactics to live interactions with CCM clients both internally and externally, converting potential prospects to CCM customers.
  • Appropriately classify and distinguish each lead contacted.
  • Complete the 20-hour S.A.F.E. training course; complete and pass the exam.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales position.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), preferred.
  • Fluency in the languages of Spanish and English in order to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, of whom may speak only English or Spanish.
  • NMLS License under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.”
