About the position

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Bilingual Medical Front Office Admin for a healthcare client located in Palm Desert, California. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, requiring 100% onsite presence with a Monday to Friday schedule. The primary focus of this role is to ensure an excellent patient experience by managing various front office tasks. This includes checking patients in and out, collecting copays, scheduling appointments, and registering patients. Additionally, the role involves assisting with referrals and medical records requests as needed, along with supporting other administrative functions as required. The Bilingual Medical Front Office Admin will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the healthcare facility, ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient service. The ideal candidate will be proactive in addressing patient needs and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service. This position is essential for creating a welcoming environment for patients and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks throughout the day while meeting production metrics set by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience strongly desired
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Excellent customer service experience, especially in-person and over the phone
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different tasks throughout the day
  • Can prioritize and meet deadlines as needed
  • Ability to work well independently and meet production metrics as expected by management
