About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Mental Health Counselor specializing in high-risk and sensitive populations, including individuals involved with High-Risk Sex Offender (HRSO) programs, Non-HRSO, Civilly Committed Individuals (CTM), Sex Offenders (SO), California Sex Offender Management Board (CASOMB), or California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) cases. This full-time position offers a salary range of $75,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, and provides opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for specialized populations.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling services while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans.
  • Monitor and document client progress and maintain accurate case records.
  • Assist clients in understanding and managing their behaviors and developing coping strategies.

Requirements

  • Bilingual LMFT, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience in mental health counseling, preferably with HRSO, NON-HRSO, CTM, SO, CASOMB, or CDCR populations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with high-risk populations is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
