About the position

The Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officer at Mariner Finance is responsible for assisting borrowers in selecting the best mortgage products to meet their needs. This role involves structuring loans, processing credit information, and managing the loan process through to closing, all while providing exceptional customer service. The position offers a competitive pay structure with significant earning potential and the opportunity to work with multiple lenders.

Responsibilities

• Interact with borrowers to provide superior customer service and assist in selecting appropriate mortgage products.
• Structure loans for borrowers, including determining rates and fees.
• Process borrower credit information and secure necessary documentation for loans.
• Educate borrowers on the loan process and assist them in identifying suitable loan options.
• Manage the loan process through to closing, ensuring quality customer service throughout.

Requirements

• Active NMLS license.
• Minimum one (1) year of Loan Origination experience.
• Motivated, disciplined, and task-oriented.
• Experience in developing and cultivating professional relationships.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Encompass or Point software.
