About the position

We are seeking a Bilingual Nurse (LPN/RN) to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services in Orem, UT. This full-time position involves working in a supportive environment dedicated to saving lives through plasma donation. The role includes determining donor eligibility, managing donor reactions, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations. Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility for plasma donation including informed consent and medical history interview.
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate donor reactions at the facility.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results.
• Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and refer to occupational health/ER as needed.
• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Current RN or LPN license
• CPR and AED certification
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of hospital experience
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and plasma collection industry standards
