In the role of Bilingual Office Administrator II at Hanger, Inc., you will play a crucial part in providing administrative support to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources. This position involves coordinating and managing front office activities to ensure smooth operations within the medical office environment. Managing incoming phone calls and obtaining insurance authorizations will also be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will provide financial counseling for patients and handle over-the-counter payments. Daily document research will be conducted using an electronic health/medical record system, ensuring that all patient information is up-to-date and accessible. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with less than one year of customer service or administrative experience. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of experience with EMR systems, knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and proficiency in MS Office products. The role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse population.
