About the position

The Bilingual Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Plant Manager at a truss plant in Gainesville, FL. This position requires proficiency in both English and Spanish, as the coordinator will assist in various operational tasks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while coordinating project work across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Plant Manager to assist with necessary tasks to run the plant.
  • Review reports, assess data, and follow up with supervisors on findings.
  • Perform various safety and quality inspections.
  • Ensure safety and quality inspections are performed as scheduled.
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and supply to schedule project work.
  • Follow up on projects to ensure proper completion.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Checklists.
  • Learn various programs to assist in scheduling the plant as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Technically savvy with a strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Suite tools
  • 2 years of experience in Construction/Building Supply/Truss Plant (Required)
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • Ability to commute to Gainesville, FL (Required)
  • Ability to relocate to Gainesville, FL before starting work (Required)
