About the position

The Bilingual Outside Sales Account Manager serves as the primary connection between Hilti and its customers, focusing on consultative sales to build a loyal client base within a designated geographical area. This role emphasizes the importance of strong customer relationships and effective sales strategies to enhance Hilti's market share in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Make outside, face-to-face consultative sales to grow a loyal client base within a designated geographical area.
  • Develop, analyze, and manage business plans through an Opportunity-Oriented Sales Approach utilizing relevant Hilti systems and tools.
  • Use Time and Territory Management (TTM) to zone territory by client potential and previous sales, and create/plan daily schedules.
  • Demonstrate Hilti products, software, and services sales execution and communicate the Hilti Value proposition in-person with clients.
  • Manage open leads, convert qualified leads to opportunities, and maintain data quality in a timely manner.
  • Identify key roles within organizations and obtain appointments with decision makers.
  • Evaluate top potential accounts and create account development plans to maintain a balanced pipeline.
  • Manage complexities in territory using Hilti's CRM platform with adequate documentation and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful account management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience in outside sales or account management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Hilti products or similar tools and fastening systems.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and its key players.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and client needs.
