About the position

The Bilingual Outside Sales Account Manager at Hilti serves as the primary link between the company and its customers, focusing on face-to-face consultative sales to build a loyal client base within a designated geographical area. This role emphasizes the development and management of business plans, utilizing Hilti's systems and tools to align solutions with client needs, while also enhancing the company's market share.

Responsibilities

  • Make outside, face-to-face consultative sales to grow a loyal client base within a designated geographical area.
  • Develop, analyze, and manage business plans through an Opportunity-Oriented Sales Approach.
  • Utilize relevant Hilti systems and tools, including Salesforce, to match Hilti solutions to validated client needs.
  • Use Time and Territory Management (TTM) to zone territory by client potential and previous sales.
  • Create and plan daily schedules, including presence at jobsites, projects, and client offices.
  • Demonstrate Hilti products, software, and services sales execution in-person with clients.
  • Manage open leads, convert qualified leads to opportunities, and maintain data quality in a timely manner.
  • Identify key roles within organizations and obtain appointments with decision makers.
  • Evaluate top potential accounts and create account development plans to maintain a balanced pipeline.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful account management.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Understanding of trades, key applications, and share of wallet preferred.
  • Some experience with reading and understanding construction documents preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills including Salesforce, MS Office suite, and smartphones.
  • Previous experience in preparing professional sales presentations and quotes for clients.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaged client relationships.
