About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Bilingual Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join their National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences by building relationships and providing appropriate banking products and services to help customers succeed financially. The position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and involves customer interaction, account management, and teamwork to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach.
• Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
• Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs.
• Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
• Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers.
• Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.

Requirements

• 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English.

• Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
• Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
• Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
• Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
• Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
