About the position

HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a leading sheet metal manufacturing company to fill the position of Production Manager. This role requires fluency in Chinese due to close coordination with our Dongguan, China facility, which will provide remote support for various projects. The VP will oversee the initial training in September before gradually transitioning responsibilities. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily production operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. This includes implementing and enforcing production schedules, monitoring progress, and adjusting as needed to meet production goals. The role also involves developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Production Manager will lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Coordination with other departments, including maintenance, quality control, and logistics, is essential to ensure seamless production processes. Effective communication with the Dongguan facility is crucial to ensure smooth project support and execution. The Production Manager will also analyze production data and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making and strategy.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
• Minimum of 20-25 years of experience in production management, with sheet metal manufacturing industry experience being a MUST.
• Proven track record of successfully managing production operations and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in production management software (Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite.
