About the position

The Bilingual Property Manager position is a full-time role based in Durham, NC, where the individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property management office. The ideal candidate will possess a professional demeanor, a passion for working with people, and a knack for problem-solving. This role requires a balance of warmth and authority, as well as strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and prospective tenants. The Property Manager will oversee various administrative tasks, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include providing first-line customer service to both prospective and current residents, managing incoming calls and emails, and completing rental forms and agreements. The Property Manager will also be responsible for collecting rents and deposits, assisting in the collection of delinquent rents, and proactively seeking ways to enhance the resident experience. Additionally, the role involves processing administrative forms and reports, performing residential leasing, and utilizing effective telephone and sales techniques. The Property Manager will send out late notices, file evictions, and undertake other duties as assigned by the Property Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, strong math skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a self-starter attitude are essential for this role. A valid driver's license is also required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line customer service to all prospective residents and current residents
  • Answering all incoming calls and emails
