About the position
Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, contract position in a school-based setting in Lansing, KS. This role offers the opportunity to work with K-12 students in a supportive environment, with the potential for contract extension beyond the school year. Responsibilities
- Assist Speech Language Pathologists in providing therapy to students
- Support students in developing communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement therapy plans
- Document student progress and maintain records
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance
- Active Kansas Speech Language Pathologist Assistant License (SLPA)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Minimum 1+ years of speech therapy experience
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
