About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented, Bilingual-Spanish Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions. This is also a front desk position, therefore Receptionist experience is a plus. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience and grow in the field of human resources. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls. You will assist new applicants with online applications using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide support to the HR team as well as front desk office support. Additionally, you will assist with the startups of new accounts, order uniforms and supplies, and utilize the HRIS system for ATS/onboarding support and processing Verifications of Employment (VOEs) and terminations. Maintaining employee records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality will also be key responsibilities. You will work with different levels of leadership and assist with other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bilingual-Spanish proficiency is required.
  • Experience in Human Resources is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
