About the position

The Bilingual Retail Store Manager at Cricket Wireless is responsible for leading a dynamic sales team to drive growth and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves managing daily operations, training staff, and actively engaging with customers to meet their needs. The position offers a commission-based pay structure, along with various employee benefits, and requires fluency in Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
  • Hire, train, and develop high-performing Sales Advocate teams to consistently meet performance expectations
  • Drive sales by going the extra mile
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
  • Assist Sales Advocate team in prospecting for external business
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Process POS purchases and handle returns of merchandise
  • Build productive relationships with Sales Advocate team and customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Suggest ways to improve sales through collaboration with the team and District Manager

Requirements

  • 6 - 12 months proven work experience in retail management
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Basic math skills
  • Familiarity with standard retail operational and inventory practices
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quotas
  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
