The Bilingual Staffing Coordinator at Midway Staffing, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting client and branch operations by maximizing recruiting efficiency and managing daily staffing activities. This position involves maintaining communication with the staffing team and clients, assisting with onboarding processes, and conducting talent acquisition activities. The role is essential for ensuring that the staffing needs of clients are met effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily communication and relationships with the Midway Staffing team and respective clients.
  • Assist with the new hire onboarding process by ensuring completion of paperwork and sending out first-day information.
  • Place and update job postings through various channels including internet sites, colleges, and social networks.
  • Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume screening, phone interviews, and recommending final selections.
  • Create job order forms and maintain applicant tracking systems and recruiting reports.
  • Arrange pre-employment testing and background screenings when required.
  • Attend job fairs and community activities for recruitment purposes.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior on-site recruiting or staffing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to be flexible and function well in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
