About the position
The Bilingual Team Member (Cashier/Sales Associate/Retail) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting sales initiatives and performing various tasks in a retail environment. This role requires interaction with customers and team members, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and maintaining operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and team members to provide legendary customer service.
- Support selling initiatives by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and asking for the sale.
- Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
- Recover merchandise and participate in mandatory freight processes.
- Complete merchandising tasks including Plan-o-gram procedures, assembly of merchandise, and executing price changes/markdowns.
- Perform janitorial duties and ensure the safety and well-being of birds in the store.
- Assist customers with loading purchases and complete all necessary documentation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred.
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
