About the position

The Cricket Bilingual Wireless Retail Store Manager at Crown Wireless is responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to achieve sales goals while ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role involves managing store operations, protecting company assets, and developing team members to excel in their roles. The position offers a strong base pay with performance bonuses and a comprehensive wellness package.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and provide a great sales and customer experience.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales goals including gross and net sales, accessory sales, rate plans, add-ons, retention goals, and auto bill pay goals.
  • Ensure proper opening and closing of the retail location with completion of all open/close procedures.
  • Supervise sales staff through mentoring, coaching, scheduling, and counseling.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and training to promote the learning and growth of sales associates.
  • Ensure 100% completion of all required training monthly and annually per Cricket compliance standards.
  • Manage inventory including ordering, receiving, discrepancies, and complete daily, weekly, and month-end counts as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Develop and manage positive business relationships with staff and customers.
  • Ensure proper merchandising within the store, including product placement, display, and brand compliance per Cricket.
  • Review resumes, perform initial phone screens, and in-person interviews for new hires, and complete onboarding paperwork.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate promotions, goals, trends, and other relevant information.
  • Responsible for store and asset security.
  • Coordinate and participate in local grassroots marketing and community events.

Requirements

  • Previous retail or customer service management experience required.
  • Leadership and employee development skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and during peak retail selling periods.
  • Tech-savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology devices.
  • Bilingual: Spanish speaking is a big plus!
  • Enthusiastic and driven to complete sales.
  • Independent and self-motivated team player.
  • Regular physical activity required, e.g., setting up promotional material, changing displays, etc.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have a fully functioning smartphone on the first day of work.
