About the position
The Bill of Materials Administrator at Honda is responsible for ensuring accurate identification and maintenance of newly established part numbers, contributing to the company's customer service mission. This role involves reviewing engineering design changes, managing specification control activities, and supporting new model planning and projects.
Responsibilities
- Review engineering design changes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the success of GIOS usage and program.
- Assist in new model planning for assigned factories.
- Maintain specification control activities and logs as required.
- Support new model projects as assigned.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 0 to 2 years experience in a procurement, production control, or engineering capacity.
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
- High level of PC skills.
- Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM).
