About the position

The Billing Associate position at our CPA firm in Pasadena is a full-time role focused on managing daily billing and administrative tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team and report directly to the CFO/Tax Manager, while providing support to 15-20 colleagues across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Generate invoices and account statements under the supervision of the tax and accounting managers
  • Post customer payments in the A/R system by recording checks and credit card transactions
  • Deposit customer checks into the bank
  • Respond to client and vendor inquiries, and manage vendor relationships as needed
  • Follow up on past due accounts
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an office, administrative, or similar setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay organized, multitask, and follow instructions with accuracy
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical school or college degree preferred
  • Experience in A/R and collections is a plus
