As a Billing and Payroll Customer Service Benefit Specialist at Aon Corporation, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to clients regarding their benefit programs. This virtual position allows you to work flexibly from anywhere in the continental United States. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize your extensive knowledge of all benefit programs offered, the client base, and the systems in place to assist clients effectively. You will be expected to exhibit excellent communication and listening skills, enabling you to handle various client inquiries and provide them with the necessary product information to make informed decisions about their benefits. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing inbound and outbound client calls, documenting inquiries, researching issues, and ensuring all necessary actions are taken to resolve client concerns. You will also be responsible for maintaining and organizing premium contribution information, as well as managing online customer and policy information for both Aon and its carriers. Additionally, you will handle policy claims, cancellations, and client address changes, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and professionally. In this role, you will contribute to the overall customer service goals by maintaining established phone metrics such as Average Speed of Answer and Abandonment Rate. You will be expected to keep your knowledge current regarding the services and assistance you provide, processing all incoming work volume within established goals. You will also assist with various accounting-related tasks, including contacting clients with delinquent accounts and ensuring accurate billing records are maintained. Collaboration with assigned Account Executives and sales producers will be essential as you support new business case implementations and address client issues.
