About the position

The Billing and Reconciliation Specialist role at Clutch Group, Inc. is a freelance position focused on providing temporary support to the finance team of a client in the digital media sector. The specialist will be responsible for managing billing, invoicing, and reconciliation tasks related to digital advertising campaigns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices for digital advertising campaigns, including display, video, mobile, and social media.
  • Ensure accurate billing rates, media costs, and agency fees.
  • Reconcile invoices with campaign delivery reports and media plans.
  • Reconcile media invoices with publisher and platform invoices.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing and invoicing.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to digital media spending.
  • Input data into billing and accounting systems, including campaign details, media costs, and agency fees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, file organization, and report generation.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
  • Knowledge of digital advertising and media buying
  • Understanding of billing and reconciliation processes for digital media
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
