About the position

The Premium Billing Specialist position is a full-time role focused on managing customer invoices and ensuring accurate billing processes. The role involves data entry, issuing invoices, and performing various clerical tasks to support the billing department. The position requires strong typing skills and attention to detail, as well as effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collecting all information needed to calculate customer invoices
• Checking the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill
• Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as billing, filing, photocopying, updating spreadsheets, faxing, etc.
• Issuing invoices and bills and sending them to customers through various channels (mail, e-mail, etc.)
• Issuing customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary
• Handling collections as needed

Requirements

• Professional appearance
• Strong typing skills (60+ wpm)
• Solid communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
