About the position

The Billing Customer Support Representative at GEICO is responsible for assisting current policyholders with their billing inquiries and processing various billing-related tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of billing operations within the Auto Service team in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Receive telephone calls from current policyholders regarding billing information.
  • Provide general billing information to customers.
  • Process endorsements and take payments from customers.
  • Handle payment plan changes and inquiries.
  • Participate in an up-skilling program to complete GEICO Service Training and licensing.

Requirements

  • Experience providing outstanding customer service.
  • Effective communication skills with an emphasis on listening and empathy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Open to feedback for performance and development improvement.
  • Solid computer and multi-tasking skills.
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
