• Understand fee schedules to ensure accurate billing.
• Verify patient and insurance information.
• Assist with other billing and collections tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Medical billing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Understanding of insurance billing and payments is necessary.
• 1+ years experience in medical cash posting and understanding of the A/R cycle preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
