About the position

As a Billing Representative at Veritext, you will play a crucial role in managing billing-related inquiries and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of invoices. This part-time remote position involves collaborating with internal teams to support billing requests and adhering to independent contractors' rates to maximize company profitability.

Responsibilities

• Produce client invoices accurately and in accordance with all Standing Orders, Vision notes, and client specifications.
• Question and resolve anomalies between Vision data and subcontractor invoices related to services, copies, rates, etc.
• Understand financial implications of vendor assignments as it relates to specific jobs and escalate to management when questions arise, low GP or another oddity.
• Quality control Veritext generated invoices line-by-line to ensure accurate codes and rates are applied to maximize billing and profitability.
• Adhere to all financial policies including COD, Bad Debt, Direct Costs, etc.
• Resolve all data discrepancies in Vision to ensure a timely delivery and payment of invoices.
• Process payment for vendors, reporters, and all 1099s for all services performed in accordance with job specifications and negotiated subcontractor rates.

Requirements

• Previous high volume billing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond to requests promptly and accurately.
• Enjoys working collaboratively on a team but can also work independently.
• Proactive and motivated with strong problem solving and follow up skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, highly organized and able to multi-task.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
