As a Billing Representative, you will be responsible for managing work queues related to insurance follow-ups, including handling denials and resolving them, as well as following up on claims that have no status. This position is full-time, and employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 10425 Enterprise Dr, Redlands, CA. You will undergo 90 days of paid training, with training hours set from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, conducted onsite. Your primary responsibilities will include contacting insurance carriers and patients regarding outstanding claims, preparing documentation for appeals, ensuring accounts are set up correctly in the system, and processing refunds when applicable. You will also be responsible for investigating and correcting prepayments and managing a book of unpaid claims assigned to you.
