About the position
The Billing Specialist at Remedi SeniorCare is responsible for ensuring accurate billing processes for various healthcare facilities, including Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. This role is crucial for the seamless delivery of pharmacy solutions, requiring precision and efficiency in handling billing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Billing 3rd party payers online (Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Medicare D plans)
- Monthly Billing of Nursing Home invoices and Private Pay statements
- Re-billing accounts as necessary
- Handling phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Assisting in Hospice Account setup
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalency
- 3-5 years of Medical Billing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in typing and computer usage
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with medical terminology
