About the position
The Billing Specialist at Triumvirate Environmental is responsible for creating and reviewing client invoices, ensuring accurate and timely billing in accordance with contract terms and company policies. This role requires a highly motivated, data-driven individual who will work closely with various teams to resolve billing discrepancies and communicate effectively with clients. The position is hybrid and based in Santa Fe Springs, CA, and reports to the Director of Technical Services.
Responsibilities
- Create and review client invoices, ensuring accurate and timely billing to customers in accordance with contract terms and company policies.
- Review client contracts to understand billing requirements and terms.
- Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure accurate billing setup (client purchase orders, invoice frequency, pricing, etc.).
- Coordinate with sales, finance, project administration, analysts, and other relevant roles/departments to resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to address billing inquiries and concerns.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Detail oriented and accurate.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum experience in billing, customer facing and/or finance related field.
