About the position

The Billing Supervisor at OneShare Health is responsible for managing all billing functions to optimize cash flow while enhancing customer relations. This role involves overseeing the billing department's daily operations, providing analysis, creating processes, and training staff to ensure a collaborative billing team. The position emphasizes teamwork, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all functions of the organization's billing to maximize cash flow.
  • Oversee departmental staffing objectives including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and update billing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Contribute to strategic plans and reviews by providing billing information.
  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Identify and resolve billing system issues and implement improvements.
  • Track and report on billing department performance against objectives and goals.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and other departments to ensure quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred, but not required.
  • Call center leadership experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer service or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Experience in healthcare or related customer service industry preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and troubleshoot new software systems quickly required.
  • Experience with system conversions preferred.
  • Ability to establish smooth working relationships and resolve conflicts.

  • Experience in healthcare or related customer service industry preferred.
