About the position

As a BIM Coordinator at Vanderweil Engineers, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various sectors, including Mission Critical Data Centers, Healthcare, and Science & Technology. This position is based in our Boston headquarters, located in the vibrant Seaport District, just a five-minute walk from South Station. You will be part of a dedicated team that collaborates on BIM improvement projects, providing you with the opportunity to expand your skill set and contribute to innovative project approaches. You will also receive mentorship from our experienced BIM Manager, ensuring that you have the support needed to grow in your role. In this position, you will assist the BIM Manager in conducting in-house BIM webinars, which are essential for knowledge sharing and skill development within the team. You will be responsible for project model coordination, including performing clash detections using BIM360/ACC, which is critical for ensuring that all project elements fit together seamlessly. Your work will span a variety of projects across different industries, allowing you to gain diverse experience and insights into the application of BIM in various contexts. Additionally, you will be tasked with streamlining BIM modeling processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery. Researching BIM applications and third-party tools will also be part of your responsibilities, as staying updated with the latest technologies is vital for continuous improvement in our practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years BIM background
