About the position

The BIM Coordinator III at NTI Connect LLC is responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes specifically for data center construction projects. This role requires a strong background in BIM and data center infrastructure, ensuring accurate data integration and collaboration among project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. The position emphasizes leadership in BIM coordination, model management, clash detection, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the coordination of BIM models for large-scale data center construction projects.
• Develop, manage, and maintain 3D models using industry standard software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between different trades and disciplines.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use AutoCAD software to create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
• Facilitate collaboration among the design team, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, processes, and protocols.
• Prepare and provide regular BIM progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
• Visit job sites to troubleshoot BIM issues and resolve problems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in the construction of data centers or large-scale MEP projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and their integration into building models.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead coordination meetings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) is preferred.
• Experience with clash detection software and model coordination.
• Knowledge of project management tools and software, such as BIM 360, Procore, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with the materials and equipment related to data center construction practices.
