About the position

The Architectural BIM Manager will lead and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes within the firm. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient execution of projects and the continuous improvement of BIM practices, requiring a strong background in architecture and extensive experience with BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and organize BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines.
• Continuously review and update BIM standards to align with industry best practices.
• Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of BIM libraries.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related communications within the firm.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff on new standards and tools.
• Develop detailed BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for each project.
• Administer and manage Autodesk BIM360 and ACC project accounts.
• Evaluate and recommend BIM software and tools to enhance productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a BIM management role within an architectural firm.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM360, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols, including ISO 19650.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
