Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for the utilization and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of medical systems and equipment to ensure optimum utilization.
• Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of current medical equipment.
• Develop methods and procedures for testing biomedical devices and ensuring optimal performance standards.
• Conduct training for healthcare staff on the proper use of medical machinery and equipment.
• Document feedback regarding the operation of medical equipment and introduce improvements as necessary.
• Maintain a database of correspondence with vendors and suppliers of medical equipment.
• Keep abreast of future medical equipment advances to prepare for technological changes.
• Write training programs and guides for healthcare staff on machinery utilization.
• Manage medical equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors for ordering replacements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or related field required.
• 0-1 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
