About the position

The BioMedical Technician at IQVIA is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices at a designated location. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply technical skills in the medical device industry while also providing avenues for professional growth and leadership development. Technicians will work on a consistent schedule and are expected to manage project timelines and customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, repairing and updating medical devices, installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
• Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation, repair, calibration, or configuration.
• Manage project timelines and customer needs.

Requirements

• Biomedical technician degree, CBET or electronics related Associate degree highly preferred.
• 1 year of experience minimum troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and updating electronic or electromechanical hardware required; equivalent education will be considered.
• Proficient computer skills required to enter data, navigate, and routinely toggle between various applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and company software programs are required.
• Must have intermediate troubleshooting abilities in the discipline of electronics.
• Experience using electrical system testing and diagnostics tools required (Example - multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Ability to independently troubleshoot electronic hardware down to component level to effectively determine root cause of failure required.
• Ability to write clear and concise reports to sufficiently capture and defend evaluation findings required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in reverse engineering highly preferred.
• Recent college graduates and military veterans with experience in an electronics related MOS are encouraged to apply!
• Ability to work overtime on Saturdays highly preferred.
