About the position

The BioPharmaceutical Account Manager at Lundbeck is responsible for promoting infusion products and driving demand creation through comprehensive clinical knowledge and effective sales strategies. This role requires strong business planning, customer development, and expertise in the pharmaceutical environment, particularly in neurology. The Account Manager will engage with various stakeholders to enhance territory effectiveness and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the promotion of infusion products and drive demand creation.
  • Utilize digital tools and customer insights to develop strategies and enhance territory effectiveness.
  • Deliver clear and compelling messages to customers and handle objections effectively.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand and navigate complex reimbursement and distribution processes.
  • Gather market trends and apply therapeutic knowledge to uncover opportunities.
  • Adhere to corporate, FDA, and PDMA guidelines in all activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of Specialty Sales experience in Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Biologics or Medical Device sales.
  • Proven track record of consistent sales performance.
  • Strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to score highly on disease and product training exams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Infusion/rare disease sales experience in Outpatient Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy settings.
  • Neurology experience specific to migraine.
  • Experience in the medical or specialty pharmacy benefit market.
  • Experience working with high influence customers in various healthcare settings.
  • Product launch or expansion experience in a new therapeutic class.
  • Strong analytical background with experience using sales data reporting tools.
