The Biochemist position at Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is an intermediate-level role focused on conducting complex laboratory activities under CGMP and GLP guidelines. Responsibilities
- Complete work for research and development under CGMP and/or GLP guidelines.
- Assist in conducting, monitoring, and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
- Provide analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.
- Work with increasing independence on studies and assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field or demonstrated comparable competency.
- Experience in biochemistry analytical techniques, both chromatographic and electrophoretic in a GMP environment.
- Familiarity with wet chemistry and/or compendial testing.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC.
- Experience with LIMS system is desirable.
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow direction.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in a relevant field may be substituted for the bachelor's degree and experience.
- Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting.
