Responsibilities
- Collaborate with investigators and clinicians in the design and analysis of studies generating bioinformatic data.
- Develop goals, methods, procedures, and analytic pipelines for data analysis.
- Conduct in-depth analysis using computational/statistical methods and bioinformatics tools.
- Prepare interpretive reports based on data analysis.
- Evaluate biomedical informatics data across multiple domains and time points.
- Document new approaches for data analysis and provide guidance to other bioinformaticians.
- Prepare proposal reviews and conduct seminars on statistical analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in genetics, pharmacology, biology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, or a related field with four years of experience, or a Master's degree with two years of experience.
- Experience with statistical/bioinformatics software packages (e.g., R, Bioconductor, SAS).
- Proficiency in scientific programming languages (e.g., Python, C, Java, shell scripting).
- Knowledge of Linux and command line environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience with microbiome, biostatistics, and epidemiology.
- Cloud computing skills and experience.
