About the position

The position involves conducting complex research and experimentation to advance scientific analysis and discovery, particularly in the field of hereditary angioedema (HAE). The role requires serving as a subject matter expert, providing support, training, and guidance, and may include participation in presenting research findings.

Responsibilities

  • Implements algorithms and computer software for analyzing omics-based data sets (high-throughput, massively parallel genomic/proteomic/clinical).
  • Develops data management and analysis solutions for large data sets.
  • Coordinates research projects with other investigators and institutions.
  • Participates in developing hypotheses and experimental design.
  • Assists with reporting of methods, data, and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Relevant experience of 2 years in a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of computational biology.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large complex data sets.
  • Expertise in standard bioinformatics tools.
