About the position

The position involves assisting with research projects focused on computational data analysis and documentation of experimental results. The role requires collaboration with a research team to implement existing algorithms and develop new ones for analyzing omics-based data sets, while also managing and reporting data effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist research studies with the implementation of existing algorithms and software for analyzing omics-based data sets.
  • Develop new algorithms to support research studies.
  • Manage and analyze large data sets for storage, investigation, and dissemination.
  • Report methods, data, and results of research studies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to reason and analytical thinking.
  • Experience with bioinformatics and bioinformatics tools.
  • Knowledge of biostatistics and complex data analysis.
  • Skills in computational biology and computer science.
  • Experience in data management and reporting.
